Sign Language Interpreter On-site
Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide 1:1 support for an elementary student who is visually impaired and deaf. The interpreter will facilitate communication, ensuring the student can access educational content effectively in a supportive school environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide interpreting services tailored to the student’s visual and auditory needs
- Support communication between the student, teachers, and peers
- Collaborate with special education and general education teams to adapt instruction
- Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a school setting
Qualifications
- ISBE Educational Interpreter approval required
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and adaptability skills
