Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) - Full-Time - Las Vegas, NM

Blazer Jobs, in partnership with the Las Vegas School District, is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to join our team for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation services to students with hearing impairments.
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and other school staff.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure an inclusive and accessible learning environment.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI).
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other relevant sign systems.
• Experience working in educational settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to various educational environments and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
