Sign Language Interpreter | Summer Opportunity

We are a reputable education services provider that is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter to join our team in Aurora, Illinois. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will work in partnership with the school district to provide interpreting and translation services for students with hearing impairments. This is a part time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• 16 Hours per Week | Monday-Thursday
• Hours per day | 7:05 AM 11:05 AM
• High School Caseload
• Summer Dates | June 14, 2023 July 13, 2023
  • Possibility of extension for 2023-2024 school year
• Observe student behaviors, performance, and communicate students

Requirements:

• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Active Illinois SLI Licensure
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Interpretation, Sign Language, or a related field
• PEL with Interpreter Approval
• EIPA Score of 3.5 or above per IL EDU approval requirements
