Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Mount Prospect, IL area. We are looking for passionate professionals committed to helping students succeed in their communication and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students with communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all school district policies and state regulations regarding speech therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
