SLP Contract Position - Full Time

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists for a full-time role with school districts in the New Orleans, LA area. We are looking for dedicated professionals passionate about helping students enhance their communication skills and succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ learning goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of communication needs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting on student performance and therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Louisiana.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered.
• Knowledge of special education laws and guidelines is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
