Blazer Jobs, in partnership with a school district in Springfield City, OH, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This role requires a passionate professional dedicated to providing students with the communication skills necessary to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure the holistic care of each student.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Stay informed of the latest research, best practices, and technology in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for school staff and parents as required.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current state license to practice as an SLP in Ohio.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
