SLP Needed for a School District in Springfield City, OH

Blazer Jobs, in partnership with a school district in Springfield City, OH, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This role requires a passionate professional dedicated to providing students with the communication skills necessary to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure the holistic care of each student.
• Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Stay informed of the latest research, best practices, and technology in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for school staff and parents as required.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Current state license to practice as an SLP in Ohio.
• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
