Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for a full-time role with school districts in the Kansas City, Missouri area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of evaluations, progress reports, and therapy sessions.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on student progress and needs.
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered for this role:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid Missouri State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Certification for working in schools.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with school-aged children in a school setting is highly preferred.
