SLP: Speech Language Pathologist needed in Laurel, DE

Blazerworks is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in Laurel DE. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in students. Your expertise in speech and language development will help create individualized intervention programs to support students' communication skills in school, home, and community environments. Additionally, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and participate in Individual Education Program (IEP) meetings to ensure appropriate interventions and support for students.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• DE teaching license with a Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder Endorsement and/or a State of DE Speech-Language Pathology License.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-Speech) preferred.

Job Description:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills.
• Identify communication disorders and develop individualized intervention plans.
• Design and implement speech and language programs to address students' needs in school, home, and community settings.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication interventions and support strategies.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and IEP meetings to contribute to the development of students' Individual Education Programs.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and provide ongoing communication with stakeholders.
• Stay updated on current research and best practices in speech and language pathology.
