Location: remote position for Michigan different school districts
Dates: September 2024- End of School Year, 2025
Caseload:
- Full Time
- K-12th Grade students
Job Details:
- Conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities while working from a remote area.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders and difficulties.
- Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and progress.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participating in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and providing input regarding students' communication needs.
- Providing support and guidance to teachers and staff on strategies for promoting communication skills in the classroom.
- Staying informed about current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- CCC-SLP
- State License to practice Speech and Language Pathology.
- Masters in Speech and Language Pathology or Teacher of Speech and Language Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
