Social Worker Contract Job

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and counseling to students dealing with social, emotional, and academic challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop intervention strategies and support systems.
• Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and provide recommendations for services.
• Facilitate communication between the school, family, and outside resources.
• Advocate for students and help navigate crisis situations.
• Develop and implement individualized plans for students requiring additional support.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a School Social Worker in Michigan.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of school systems, special education processes, and mental health support resources.
