Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our elementary school team in Willimantic, CT. In this full-time role, you will provide essential support to students in grades K-5. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through counseling, intervention, and collaboration with families and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and support services to students in grades K-5.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ academic and personal success.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as needed.
• Assist in crisis intervention and conflict resolution within the school setting.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work or a related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a School Social Worker in Connecticut.
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
