South of Springfield, Missouri - Special Education Teacher

Our partner school near Springfield, MO is looking for a Special Education Teacher for the remainder of the 2024 - 2025 school year. 

Contract & Weekly, Hourly Pay 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Create a supportive, engaging, and adaptive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth for all students.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and strategies to address different learning styles and needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to share progress, set goals, and address any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and IEPs.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in special education and child development.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Special Education / Education or related field
• Active State Teaching License
