SPED Case Manager

Location: Frankfort, IL

Caseload: 9 students/3rd - 4th Grade

BlazerJobs, in collaboration with the school district, is seeking a dedicated and experienced SPED Case Manager for a full-time position in Frankfort, IL. As a SPED Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and well-being of students with special needs by providing comprehensive support and guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Case Management: Oversee and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies that support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments, analyze data, and create personalized plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Advocacy: Advocate for students with special needs, ensuring they receive appropriate resources, accommodations, and services to facilitate their learning and development.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation related to student performance and IEP goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Proven experience in case management and working with students with diverse needs
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and prioritize tasks effectively
