Special Education Opportunities in Brooklyn, NY Full-Time Positions Available!

We’re seeking passionate and certified Special Education Teachers to join our team in Brooklyn, NY! These full-time positions run from ASAP through June 27, 2025, offering you the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students’ education in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Details:

1. 6th Grade ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching):

• Full-time, full-year position.
• Co-teaching alongside a general education teacher.
• Small group instruction for students with IEPs.

2. 4th–8th Grade SETSS (Special Education Teacher Support Services):

• Full-time, full-year position.
• Small group pull-out instruction for students in grades 4–8.
• Group sizes of no more than 8 students.

3. 5th Grade ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching):

• Full-time, full-year position.
• Co-teaching alongside a general education teacher.
• Includes small group sessions for targeted support.

4. 8th Grade ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching):

• Full-time, full-year position.
• Co-teaching with a general education teacher in a classroom of about 25 students.
• Small group pull-out sessions (no more than 8 students).

Location: On-site only in Brooklyn, NY.

Hourly Rate: Starting at $44/hour.

Professional Development Opportunities:
Candidates are invited to participate in professional development/training days. If you choose to participate, you’ll receive a daily stipend:

• Special Education Teachers: $150/day.

Special Requirements:

• NYS Special Education Certification, appropriate to the grade level.
