We are seeking a compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to assist students with special needs in the classroom. You will work closely with teachers to support students in their learning and personal development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the teacher with classroom activities and lessons.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs.
• Follow individualized education plans (IEPs) to help students meet their learning goals.
• Help with behavior management and use strategies to support positive behavior.
• Assist students with daily tasks, such as transitioning between activities.
• Supervise students during breaks, lunch, and recess.
• Prepare materials and help organize the classroom.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred)
• Experience working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with children with different abilities.
• Drug Screen
• Fingerprint Background Clearance
