Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Paraprofessionals for a full-time role with school districts in the Yreka, CA area. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about working with students and supporting their educational journey in a classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with special needs by assisting in daily activities and ensuring that accommodations are met.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to enhance student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some districts may require a paraprofessional certification or relevant experience).
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, compassion, and a commitment to student success.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and support the educational goals of the classroom.
