Pay Rate: $20 - $25 per hour

About the Position:

We are seeking a compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional (PARA) or Teacher Assistant (TA) to join our Special Education team in the Peterborough, New Hampshire area. This role involves providing support to students in an Emotional Support Program.

• Full-Time
• Caseload: Emotional Support Program (specific details will be shared during the interview)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs
• Reinforce learning concepts and assist students with assignments and projects
• Support classroom management and behavior reinforcement strategies

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Paraprofessional I or II Certification preferred (not required)
• Previous school experience is required
• Comfort working with Special Education students
• Must pass background check and complete credentialing items (fingerprints, physical exam, etc.)
