Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team in Reserve, LA. The Paraprofessional will work closely with educators to support the instructional and behavioral needs of students in the classroom setting. This role requires a passion for education, a patient demeanor, and a commitment to assisting students in achieving their academic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Support students with special needs in both instructional and behavioral capacities.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to address student needs effectively.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate s degree or higher preferred).
• Prior experience working in an educational setting or with children.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students.
