School Paraprofessional – North Kansas City, KS

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Paraprofessionals for a full-time role within school districts in the North Kansas City, KS area. This is a great opportunity for professionals who are passionate about working with students and supporting their educational experience.

Location: North Kansas City, KS
Employment Type: Full-Time
 

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in implementing educational programs and activities.
• Support individual students or small groups with their learning needs.
• Assist in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Provide additional help for students with special needs, including implementing accommodations and modifications as directed by the teacher.
• Monitor student progress and communicate updates to the classroom teacher.
• Supervise students during non-classroom activities, including lunch, recess, or field trips.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Paraprofessional certification for the state of Kansas OR 60 college credit hours
• Ability to pass background checks and meet all district and state requirements.
