Special Education (SPED) Teacher - Maple Grove, MN

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education (SPED) Teacher to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year in Maple Grove, MN. The SPED Teacher will work within the school, with hours varying based on the school's schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Creating and adapting lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Providing instruction and support to students in various academic subjects.
• Collaborating with other teachers, support staff, and parents to address individual student needs.
• Conducting assessments and maintaining accurate student progress records.

Requirements:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license with SPED endorsement.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
