Special Education Teacher/ ARD Committee Manager Needed near Southlake, TX | Contract Position

A school near Southlake, TX is looking to fill a contract opening with the perfect candidate. We are looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive team of educators. This opportunity is a full-time contract position working with an open caseload. Candidates must have a Certified Special Education license with Texas Department of Education.

• Caseload: ARD Committee Manager

• Contract dates: ASAP – 6/03/2022
• Scheduling and mailing notices for ARD committee meetings.
• Gathering relevant student data, such as, grades, attendance, behavior reports, progress monitoring data, universal screening results, previous and current evaluation reports.
• Preparing and finalizing required ARD committee paperwork.
• Facilitating the ARD committee meeting.
• Sending completed Individualized Education Program (IEP) documents to the parents or guardians and archiving in accordance with LEA procedures.
• Certified Special Education license with Texas Department of Education.
• Prior school experience preferred

This position is paid at a W2 hourly rate via direct deposit.
