Position: Special Education Teacher (SPED)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Provide differentiated instruction and support to students in various settings, including one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classrooms.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to ensure success.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with all federal and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience in special education or a related field.
• Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and enriching educational experience for all students.
