Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Kansas City, KS

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure student success.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience working in a Special Education setting.
• Must meet all federal and state requirements for licensing and certifications.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
