Position: Special Education (SPED) Teacher

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of educational settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure each student’s success.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to meet IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and work with a multidisciplinary team to develop educational goals and strategies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of experience as a Special Education Teacher.
• Must meet all federal and state certification and licensing requirements for special education.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• A passion for helping students with special needs thrive academically and personally.
