Special Education Teacher Contract Opportunity - Empower Students Today

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time role with school districts in the Sandy, OR area. We are seeking dedicated educators passionate about fostering growth and learning for students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Provide specialized instruction in a variety of settings to support student learning.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create inclusive educational plans.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
• Utilize appropriate behavior management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate and compliant records in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Current Oregon teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
