Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time position with school districts in the Stafford, NH area. We are looking for passionate and qualified educators to provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique learning needs.
- Deliver differentiated instruction in both small group and one-on-one settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
- Track and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet academic and developmental goals.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws and policies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment to promote social and emotional growth.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Valid New Hampshire teaching certification in Special Education.
- Previous experience in a special education setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to create engaging and adaptive lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Knowledge of special education laws and IEP processes.
