Special Education Teacher Contract Role

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time positions within school districts in the Phoenix, AZ area. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate educators dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify general education curriculum to accommodate students’ unique learning styles.
• Provide direct instruction to students in both individual and small-group settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional methods to meet IEP goals.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Arizona Special Education certification (or ability to obtain certification).
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.
