Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to the academic, social, and emotional growth of students.
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to address individual student needs effectively.
  • Employ innovative teaching methods and materials to engage and inspire students with diverse learning styles.
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports for students' educational development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Special Education or relevant field (Master s degree preferred).
  • Valid Oregon teaching certification/license in Special Education.
  • Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student requirements.
