Special Education Teacher - Full-Time

Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract position in Santa Fe, NM. This school-based role offers an exciting opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs by developing and implementing individualized instructional strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the unique requirements of each student.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student performance and program outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Active state certification in Special Education for New Mexico.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
