Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position at Aston Education Center for the current school year. Position Details:

• Location: Aston Education Center, Aston, PA
• Caseload: Middle school classroom (6th - 8th grades)
• Work Schedule: 35 hours per week

Daily Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with emotional and behavioral needs.
• Adapt and modify the general education curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular updates and feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and learning.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to support students' emotional and behavioral development.

Qualifications:

• Certified Special Education Teacher.
• Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral needs is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
