Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in partnership with the Morris Plains School District. This is a full-time, onsite position for the current school year.

Position Details:

• Location: Morris Plains, NJ
• Type: Full-time, Onsite
• Hours: 7:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday (35 hours weekly, hours may vary)
• Caseload: Resource Math class, 3rd-5th grade students

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Provide direct instruction in Resource Math to 3rd-5th grade students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curricula as needed.
• Assess students' progress and provide regular updates to parents and administrators.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field.
• DOE Certification.
• Special Education Certification.
• Strong commitment to supporting the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
