Special Education Teacher Job in Elementary School

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Elementary School Special Education Teacher to join our team in Bremerton, Washington. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to support and inspire students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for elementary-aged students.
• Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
• Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional approaches.
• Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
• Valid Washington State teaching certification in Special Education.
• At least one year of experience in a special education setting.
• Knowledge of state and federal special education regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
