You will play a crucial role in providing individualized instruction, support, and advocacy for students with disabilities in an inclusive educational setting. Your commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment will contribute to the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities, in collaboration with parents, administrators, and other members of the educational team. Provide specialized instruction based on students' unique learning needs and abilities, adapting teaching methods, materials, and assessments accordingly.

Job Details:

Contract Start/End: Sept 5 - June 2024

Hours: 40 hours/week

Caseload: Two openings

• 1^st position:
  • Multiple disabilities caseload
  • Covering a maternity leave
  • Start date: September 5, 2023
  • End date: TBD
• 2^nd position:
  • Learning disabilities caseload
  • Start date: September 5, 2023
  • End date: June 26, 2024

Requirements:

• School-based experience
• Must have ACTIVE license/certifications in NJ
• Will be required to take TB Test, Physical, Fingerprints, Background Check
