Special Education Teacher Needed | Covington, GA

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Resource Room Special Education Teacher to work with students in Mundelein. As a Resource Room Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing direct instruction, developing, and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and ensuring that students with diverse learning needs receive a high-quality education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Education or related field
• Valid Georgia teaching license for Special Education
• Experience working with diverse learners and students with disabilities
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a resource room setting
• Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring that all accommodations and modifications are implemented
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure that students receive a high-quality education
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for home practice
