Special Education Teacher (Full-Time) – Southlake, TX

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time role within school districts in the Southlake, TX area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to meet students' unique academic and behavioral goals.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities, ensuring progress in both academic and social areas.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school staff to modify instructional strategies and classroom environments.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure continued growth.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education services.

Requirements:

• Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Ability to meet all state and local requirements, including passing background checks and obtaining required certifications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
