Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities, both in specialized settings and within the general classroom.
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' learning needs.
Utilize differentiated instruction and various teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and services provided.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
State licensure or certification as a Special Education Teacher.
Strong knowledge of special education laws, policies, and procedures.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
