Job Title: Full-Time Special Education (SPED) Teacher
Location: Frankfort, IL

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of educational settings.
Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and interventions.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
