Job Title: Full-Time Special Education Teacher (SPED)

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities, both in specialized settings and inclusive classrooms.
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Use a variety of instructional strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
Conduct assessments and regularly monitor and report on student progress.
Employ assistive technology and adaptive materials to enhance student learning.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes the social and emotional development of all students.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
State certification or licensure in Special Education.
Previous experience in Special Education is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
Knowledge of and experience with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to differentiate instruction to address various learning styles and abilities.
