Responsibilities:

As a Special Education Teacher, you will be an integral part of our educational team, providing tailored support to students with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student's specific needs.
• Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Adapting teaching methods, materials, and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assessing student progress and using data to make informed instructional decisions.
• Cultivating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports students' social and emotional growth.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Active New Hampshire teaching license in Special Education.
• A strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
• Familiarity with special education laws and regulations is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
