Special Education Teacher Needed In Seattle, Washington

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Special Education
• Valid Washington State Teaching Certification
• Special Education Teaching License
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification

Position Details:

• Location: Onsite
• Employment Type: Full-time, 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
• Duration: 2024/2025 School Year
• Contract Start Date: ASAP
• Contract End Date: June 30, 2025

Caseload Responsibilities:

• Caseload: High School students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide guidance and support to help students achieve their fullest potential
• Collaborate with fellow educators to address students' academic and behavioral needs
• Plan and deliver individualized and small group lessons aligned with general education curriculum
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date student records

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $30 - $40 per hour
• Weekly pay
