Special Education Teacher (SPED)

Location: Muncee, IN

Full-time | Caseload: K- 12

Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Summary:
We are seeking four dedicated and experienced Special Education Teachers (SPED) to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a SPED Teacher, you will be responsible for providing support and instruction to students with special needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. The positions available are split between two elementary schools and two middle schools.
Responsibilities:
Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, in collaboration with parents, classroom teachers, and other school staff
Provide direct instruction to students with special needs in a variety of settings, including individual and small group settings

Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Special Education or a related field
Current certification as a Special Education Teacher in the state of Illinois
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a SPED Teacher, preferably in an elementary or middle school setting
