Special Education Teacher Needed (SPED) K-12 | Crestline, CA

We are looking for a School Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join our team in Crestline, CA. This full-time position involves working with a K-12 caseload, providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including IEP reports, assessments, and student progress records.
• Provide direct instruction in both individual and small group settings.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching methods and classroom management strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Active California Special Education teaching credential.
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
• Understanding of special education laws, policies, and best practices.
