Special Education Teacher Needed (SPED) K-12 | Maricopa, AZ

We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Maricopa, AZ. This role will involve working with a K-12 caseload of students, providing specialized instruction and support to help them achieve their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction to students with a range of learning disabilities and special needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) in collaboration with other educators and support staff.
• Assess students’ progress and adapt instructional strategies to meet their needs.
• Work closely with parents, teachers, and other school staff to ensure students receive the appropriate services and accommodations.
• Maintain detailed records of students' progress, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
• Valid Special Education certification for the state of Arizona.
• Experience working with K-12 students with disabilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
