Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing for a full-time Special Education Teacher position in Phoenix, AZ. This school-based role is ideal for an experienced educator passionate about supporting students with diverse needs, empowering them to reach their academic goals and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.
• Modify lesson plans and teaching strategies to accommodate a range of disabilities, ensuring all students can access the general curriculum.
• Provide direct instruction to students individually or in small groups, based on their IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote inclusive education and student success.
• Continuously assess and document student progress, making adjustments to instruction and IEPs as necessary.
• Foster a supportive, safe, and structured classroom environment.
• Engage with parents and caregivers, communicating student progress and working together to address challenges.

Qualifications:

• Must meet all local and state licensure and certification requirements for Special Education in Arizona.
• Prior experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
