Special Education Teacher On-site

Blazer Jobs is seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to join schools in Hopewell, VA. These full-time positions involve managing diverse caseloads and delivering individualized instruction to students with varying needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and support a caseload of up to 24 students, including IEP implementation and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to provide inclusion and resource instruction.
• Deliver lessons in self-contained and collaborative settings as required.
• Develop and implement data-driven instructional strategies.
• Communicate regularly with families and colleagues to support student development.
• Ensure compliance with special education laws and school policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Active Special Education teaching license for the state of Virginia.
• Experience working in elementary, middle, or high school settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
