Special Education Teacher Opening

Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support elementary and middle school students in Chester, PA. This role involves delivering specialized instruction and fostering a positive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate mastery of subject matter and instructional skills.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district standards.
• Utilize formative assessments and differentiation to drive instruction.
• Provide individualized support to meet students’ unique needs.
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and administration to ensure student success.
• Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment with strong behavior management strategies.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education certification/licensure (required).
• Bachelor's degree (required for emergency teaching permit if applicable).
• Prior experience in a school setting (required).
• Strong classroom and behavior management skills.
• Familiarity with working in an urban school environment.
• Completion of all PA clearances.
