These full-time positions will involve working in various educational settings to provide tailored instruction and support to students with special needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Special Education Teacher Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide instruction in both general and special education settings.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the needs of students with diverse disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching license or eligibility for the same.
• Experience working with students with various disabilities.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive learning tools.
• Ability to manage and support a diverse caseload of students.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
