Special Education Teacher Positions – St. Albans, NY

Blazer Jobs is currently partnering with the school district in St. Albans, NY, to fill three full-time, onsite Special Education Teacher positions for the current school year.

Positions Available:

• 7th Grade Special Education Teacher
• 5th & 6th Grade Special Class Teacher
• 3rd Grade Special Education Teacher (to cover maternity leave until March)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Caseload/Details:

• Work with students in the specified grade levels
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure students' success
• Create and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and maintain progress reports
• Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral growth

Requirements:

• NY special education certification, including the grade(s) you wish to teach (grades K-6, grades 7-12, or grades K-12)
