Position Overview:
As a Special Education Teacher (SPED), you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and effective learning environment for students with diverse learning needs. You will collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to provide inclusive learning experiences.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student performance and addressing any concerns.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the special education team to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid SPED teaching license for the state of Minnesota.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
