Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
• Provide direct instruction, support, and accommodations to students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies and interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Tennessee teaching certification in Special Education.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
